St. Louis Cricket club is one of the oldest club in Midwest. This club has been affiliated with Midwest Conference since 1965. This club has been founded by Mr. Bill Tatlock. The Kutis Cricket team has been sponsorsed since 1958, Bill Tatlock manager worked with Mr. Doug Catling of the Winnetha club of Chicago Illinois, and other teams of the Midwest formulated the Midwest Cricket Conference League.

In 1961, Mr. John Marder (deceased) who was president of Los Angeles cricket and Bill Tatlock met in St. louis Missouri at the famous Cheshire Inn with some other Kutis team members. Mr. Marder was asked of the MCC of London England of whom Mr. Marder was a memeber to formulate the United States Cricket Association, and so it was accomplished.

The Kutis club re-established the friendly rivalry between Canada and the USA in 1961 and played in Toronto. In 1963, Kutis played a very significant role in bringing the international game to St. louis Missouri. The KUTIS team has always put some of their players on each of the International teams as they did this year in the game on July 13th - 15th in Toronto Canada.

In the 1980s, there were four teams in St. Louis; the most prominent team was Forest Park C. C. In 1987, St. Louis Kutis C.C absorbed Forest Park. Since then, St. Louis Kutis has won a minor championship and has been in the playoffs for the last thirteen years. It had been fourteen years since a St. Louis team won a Midwest Cricket League Championship until St. Louis Kutis C.C won the Championship in 1999.

2002 was a very competitive year as there were 33 teams from Chicago, Milwaukee, and Missouri competing in the league. St. Louis Kutis Cricket Club has very talented players from Pakistan and India. Some of the players have played first class cricket in thier respective countries. Players like Tehsin Ahmed, Masroor Hussain, Muqeem Din, and Tauqeer Haider have played high class cricket. We are proud to have Tehsin Ahmed and Sohail Alvi who have represented the USA cricket team on International levels.

In both the recent years championships - 2006 and 2007 - the team won one of the top four berths in the Division I Midwest CC. We lost in Semi-Finals, and aim to climb the last ladder in the upcoming 2008 season.

Our goals are to keep playing competitive cricket, attract new players from India, Pakistan, England, Australia, Sri Lanka and West Indies communities, promote cricket in our younger generation by holding coaching clinics, and involve the community in an activity which can be enjoyed as a family.

St Louis Cricket Club is looking for enthusiastic cricketers to join the club. We are looking for support and involvement from the cricket loving community in St Louis in order to promote cricket in this St. Louis area.
